Baby's heartbeat was 164 bpm. It felt good to set my first appointment with my midwife today for November 1st. Baby's due to come around May 22. We are feeling extremely hopeful! This has been a true miracle. It's interesting how the Lord works. We had our IVF initial meeting set and I can't tell you how satisfying it was to be able to cancel that appointment! We are feeling blessed. I can't wait to be done with the first trimester so we can breathe a sigh of relief (and I hopefully wont be feeling so crappy). God is good!

Transfer Of Care!!!
We had an ultrasound today and everything looks perfect! I'm 8 weeks today and my doctor said since everything looks good at this point it's time to transfer care to my midwife! He said I could come in for one more ultrasound in a couple of weeks if I wanted to just for peace of mind, but at this point it's time to move on! I'm so excited.

God is so good!! :) I got the biggest smile on my face when I read on facebook that we both had doctors appointments today! I'll have to ask next time I go what the bpm of my babe's heartbeat is :)
And how great that you're able to see your midwife now! Did you use a midwife with Caleb? I'm sure November 1st couldn't come soon enough :) Prayers and hugs for you & baby!
I can't tell you how many times during the day I randomly smile just thinking about another adorable little Hoopes baby. I can't wait! May seems WAY too far away. Love you and already love that baby.
