"Water In My Eyes"

We have been riding a lot lately. The little hombre has accompanied us on all of our training rides. I am so grateful he is so willing. He complains, throws things overboard, and asks to go home when we are doing long climbs, but overall he does a pretty amazing job. When I get frustrated, I need to remind myself that he is 3. Saturday we brought along a little leapfrog laptop thingy, and he was perfect for the 3.5 hour ride. We just need to keep him busy during the climbs. Caleb LOVES the downhills though. He pedals his little heart out and loves to go fast. I don't think this boy will ever experience much fear around speed. We get up to 43mph often and he enjoys every bit of it.

It started to rain towards the end of our ride Saturday and after a few minutes Caleb yells "Water in my eyes". I looked back and saw a super muddy face. Poor guy. I could not stop laughing and clicked a pic when we got home.

I love all the smiles that come from the people who see our little family ride past them. I love the conversations, magic sticks, pee breaks, loud songs, etc. I love this boy and love the memories we are creating.
